Where do you call home? Home is in my head. That’s where I live.
What do you love most about it? The consciousness that I exist as part of the One Thing.
Born and raised or Johnny-come-lately? Started to self realize about the age of 16, but it’s ongoing.
Is it a winter wonderland or summertime paradise? Depends on whether I’m asleep or awake.
What’s your commute like? Usually on foot, me electric bike or public transit.
What do you do on a day off? Sleep in late.
It’s my first time in town. Where should we go? Kensington Market or Eglinton West. Or maybe Allen Gardens.
Is there anything you’d change about it? People should be nicer. In general, to each other.
Where do you go when it’s time to get away? Ethiopia.
Favourite local landmark: Thymeless Reggae Joint!
Best local event or festival: NuFunk’s Annual Bob Marley Birthday Celebration @ Lee’s Palace…always nice!
Favourite local team: The Marlies. (no, really, we have a local hockey team called..)
Favourite local celebrity: dj Likkle Joint to di world! She wicked yuh see…
Time to shop. Historic downtown or Big Box Land? We don’t like big boxes.
Favourite Mom & Pop shop: Ha ha, Juice Box.
Favourite local restaurant: Ethiopian House.
Best place to grab a coffee or tea: Bulldog Coffee…
Grocery store or farmers market? Both!
Tell us something only locals know: Only the locals know how consistently shizz the weather is here…sorry, it’s late April and I got snow yo.
