After more than 20 years of touring and some 300 shows per year, it's no wonder Big Sugar front man Gordie Johnson doesn't have a distinct memory of playing in Grande Prairie in the past.
As the lead singer and guitarist explains, it's not necessarily a bad thing.
"It's better to not be remembered in some ways because to be memorable, it means something terrible would have to happen," said Johnson from his current stop in Courtenay, B.C.
"Alberta shows are always off the hook anyway," he added. "It seems like the further north we get, the better it gets."
