Big Sugar headlines 35th annual Ride for Sight - Orillia Packet

ORILLIA - Orillians can expect a thundering roar from Tudhope Park this weekend as upward of 5,000 motorcyclists converge on the city for the 35th annual Ride for Sight, a weekend of music, riding and camping.

On Saturday, 500 to 1,000 motorcyclists are expected to take part in the parade leaving from Richmond Hill and ending at Tudhope Park in Orillia.

Although the parade is a large part of the festival, there are many other highlights in store, with bands playing Friday and Saturday. Saturday evening is not to be missed with the draw for a Harley Davidson motorcycle and Big Sugar taking the stage to play for participants. All I can say is b

e prepared for an incredible show with Big Sugar on Saturday night, said Debbie Dixon, director of Ride for Sight Canada, adding the band is bringing its full tour show. Big Sugar will be giving back a portion of the proceeds from merchandise sales to Ride for Sight.
